We welcome children who don't speak French

We welcome students who speak either French or English. Students who speak only one of these languages typically require no special support if they enter at the preschool level (including kindergarten). Students entering at the elementary school level typically require language support... which we provide.

The way we handle this issue typifies our school. We understand that children come with different backgrounds and abilities. We welcome those differences, and we support children to help them move forward.

To our way of thinking, there is no other way; our mission is to help students to learn. So, as a bilingual school, we help students become bilingual.

Thus, we join the ranks of French International schools in the U.S. At the best French International schools, approximately one third of the children come from homes where French is not spoken, one third come from bilingual homes, and one third come from French predominated homes.
