French Ministry of Education

The École has received full accreditation for all grades—from Maternelle through Middle School—from the French Ministry of Education and AEFE (French Agency for the Advancement of French Abroad). The École is now part of a network of 496 accredited schools—47 here in the US and another 449 in 136 countries around the world.

Mission Laïque Française

The École is affiliated with the Mission Laïque Française (MLF), an educational institution promoting French language and culture through the education of children. MLF’s network reaches across the globe, with 23 affiliated schools in the US.

National Association of Independent Schools

The École is a member of The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), a nonprofit membership association that provides services to more than 1,800 schools and associations of schools in the United States and abroad, including more than 1,500 independent private K-12 schools in the U.S.

Parents League of New York

The École is a member of The Parents League of New York, a coalition of parents and independent schools that was founded in 1913 to support families and children by providing a broad range of educational and parenting resources.

Agency for French Education Abroad

The École is fully accredited by the French Ministry of Education and the Agency for French Education Abroad, from nursery through 8th grade. AEFE is a governmental institution affiliated with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responsible for managing the network of French schools abroad and the quality of the French educational system.

AFSA: Association of French Schools in North America

The École is a member of the Association of the French Schools in North America (AFSA), a membership organization of French schools in the United States and Canada, recognized by the French Ministry of Education. AFSA’s member schools educate bilingual, bicultural students, whose academic excellence prepares them for entrance to the finest European and North American universities.

FISNA

The École is part of the French International Schools in North America, a network of 54 international schools located in the United States and Canada, which implement the French curricula and employ a majority of teachers who are qualified to teach the French National programs.
